I have worked at BEN's Alexandra House since 2008.
My job consists of helping out with the day-to-day tasks of caring for our residents. I help them dress, brush their teeth and make sure they are comfy and clean. I also get all their laundry done and ensure their rooms are kept clean so they have the best quality of life.
I think Alexandra House is more like a hotel than a residential home. Everyone has respect for each other and starts each morning feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead.
Alexandra House is an amazing place to work with a really happy atmosphere. I enjoy being around the residents as they always have stories to tell and I'm lucky to work within a fantastic team. Alexandra House really is the ‘crème de la crème' of care.
