nursing

We have a team of registered nurses and carers who can provide care for up to 21 nursing residents. Nursing is suitable for those people who need care for a medical condition.

residential

We can provide 24 hour care for up to 21 residents. This type of care is suited to those people who are elderly and frail but need assistance to maintain a level of independence

young disabled

Town Thorns can provide care for up to 14 young physically disabled people.

dementia

Our small friendly unit staffed by a dedicated team can provide care for up to 10 residents with dementia.

sheltered housing

We have 27 one bedroomed flats and 14 ensuite bedsits that are available for shared ownership or renting.

day care

We provide a safe and comfortable place for elderly people to be cared for during the day, from 10.00am - 3.30pm, inclusive of lunch. Our day care members can also benefit from a range of acitivities available.

respite care

Although we do not have a room permanently available for respite care, we are able to offer respite breaks if we have a vacancy. This type of care is suitable for those who need a break from their home due to illness or an operation, or to relieve their carers.
