accommodation

Town Thorns is situated in 25 acres of beautiful countryside just outside the village of Easenhall, between Rugby and Coventry. There are stunning views from most of our rooms, and the paths around the grounds ensure that residents can enjoy walking in the fresh air and visiting the ducks and fish in our pond.

Town Thorns consists of two buildings, an old Victorian manor house mainly used for staff purposes and a purpose built three-tier centre. The latter was an ambitious project undertaken by BEN and is certainly one of the best of its kind in the country.

Each unit in the main centre has it's own comfortable lounge equipped with a television and radio. Most of our rooms are ensuite and we encourage our residents to bring their personal belongings to help them settle in and feel right at home. Our young disabled residents can also decorate their rooms in their own style if they wish, as well as the corridor in their unit, so that they're able to express their personalities.

Our community hall houses all types of entertainment, daily therapy sessions, games and social gatherings. Over the Christmas period, concerts and pantomimes take to the stage and bring much fun and enjoyment to all. Another popular facility is our hydrotherapy pool, which is used for mobility treatment by our trained staff and provides a great form of exercise.

We also have a bright and pleasant restaurant providing a waitress service and hot, freshly cooked meals. The restaurant is widely used by residents, relatives and family members alike.

Our sheltered housing, comprising of 27 one bedroomed flats and 14 ensuite bedsits, all include a bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, an alarm call system and double glazing. Residents in our sheltered housing also have their own lounge which they use for functions, meetings and social gatherings
