One of the automotive industry's social highlights of the year, our BEN Ball, took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 14 December 2011.
The event was attended by 1,000 people from across the automotive industry and allied trades who enjoyed a night of non-stop, sparkling entertainment including performances from The London Community Gospel Choir, the Band of The Scots Guards and the award winning Jersey Boys. The night raised in excess of £200,000 for the charity.
Other highlights of the evening included a sumptuous four course meal and an amazing array of prizes in the tombola, table raffles and reverse bingo. BEN supporters donated some incredible lots to be bid for in the silent and main auctions, including a Range Rover Evoque Prestige SD4 automatic, a Honda PCX 125 and a ‘Spitfire Experience'.
David Main, our Chief Executive said, "We're so grateful to everyone who was involved in making the evening such a huge success. It was wonderful to see once again such fantastic support from the industry and the monies raised will help us make a real difference to the lives of thousands of industry colleagues who turn to BEN in their time of need."
