Peugeot UK has again given a lift to BEN with the donation of a brand new award winning seven seat 5008 1.6 HDi Sport. The car will be used to transport staff and residents at BEN's Lynwood care centre in Sunninghill, Berkshire for the next year.
BEN Chief Executive, David Main and Director of Care Services, Jenny Brown, picked up the car from Peugeot UK's Coventry headquarters, where Peugeot UK MD Jon Goodman handed over the keys in person.
Commenting on the donation, Jon Goodman said: "BEN does fantastic work to look after people from the automotive industry in times of need and, of course, getting around safely and comfortably is key to carers and residents. Peugeot has long been a supporter of the charity and I'm delighted we can help again this year."
Receiving the keys to the Peugeot 5008, BEN Chief Executive, David Main, said: "This may be the motor industry but we are a charity and rely on the support of organisations and individuals to maintain our levels of care. We are extremely grateful to Peugeot for once more coming to our aid with the fabulous 5008. It's certainly right up there with the best in its class and it will undoubtedly go a long way to improving the lives of our residents and carers."
