Lynwood Fete and the Paul Finn Rally is an important event in BEN's annual fund-raising calendar and preparation for it takes a huge amount of time and effort from both our staff and volunteers. Hence when LSI, a local technology provider of silicon and software solutions, offered their help, it was most welcomed!
On the 13th June, LSI allowed 24 of their employees to take part in a full day of volunteering at Lynwood Care Centre where they spent the whole day opening up fete tents, putting up decorative fete bunting and gardening.
The team worked extremely hard throughout the day, demonstrating great dedication and good will towards BEN. It was great to witness how one company can make such a big difference. Normally Fete preparation would normally take up to a week, but with the volunteers helps this was completed within a day which meant our staffs' energy could be utilised in other essential areas.
