British Airways crew used some of the funds that they raised from their most recent pantomine to create a new haven for residents at our Lynwood care centre.
The crew, who have been performing to audiences of thousands the last 39 years, have handed over £400 to Lynwood, which helped us furnish a new room for our residents to enjoy. The donation was inspired by a member of the British Airways Cabin Crew Entertainment Society (BACCES), whose mother spent her lat few months of her life being cared for at Lynwood.
Werner Schwardtmann, the Chairman at BACCES said, "We are extremely proud to be able ot offer the Lynwood care centre our support. The panto raised over £20,000 for charity this year, and our members donate the money to worthy causes, which are close to our hearts."
