This years Annual Unipart Golf Day took place on Thursday September 27th 2011, at the Marriot's alluring Breadsall Priory Hotel and Country Club. The event raised an amazing £2,498 for BEN the automotive industry charity.

As the sun shone on the Breadsall's Moorland course, designed by Donald Steele, 13 teams from the automotive industry teed off to compete for the prestigious title of Unipart Golf Day Champions.

Peter Green of Unipart Commercial Vehicles performance won him first place in the Single Stableford competition. The Team Stableford title went to Karen Burns, Gary Keeton, Andy Kelly, and Sally Park of Kwik- Fit 1 team, the four won with an impressive score of 94 points, making it the second year running that they have scooped the title. Other awards went to Andy Kelly of Kwik-Fit in the Nearest the Pin competition and Mark Dickinson of FPS BTN in the Longest Drive competition.

BEN's Events and Exhibitions Manager, Kelly Neal, commented "It was a wonderful day for all, not only were we blessed with great weather but we also saw some great golf. The course was in great condition and the evening was capped off with fantastic entertainment from Ben. I'd like to thank Unipart Automotive for their continued support of the event and look forward to next year."
