Joe Greenwell, Chairman, Ford of Britain and President of automotive industry charity BEN has been made a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List for services to the automotive industry.
GM UK Chairman and Chief Executive BEN's Vice-President Bill Parfitt was also created CBE for services to the automotive industry.
Speaking of the honours, BEN's Chief Executive David Main commented;
"It is fantastic to see two such great stalwarts of the automotive industry recognised in this manner and BEN is particularly thankful to both of them for their hard work and enthusiasm over the years. We are incredibly grateful to Joe and Bill for giving up so much of their time to help us create an industry in which anybody in need knows to come to BEN for support. On behalf of all our staff, residents and beneficiaries I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Joe and to Bill."
