Our Lynwood Care Centre in Sunninghill, Ascot will be holding a Christmas Fayre on Saturday 26th November 2011 between 12.30 - 3.00 pm.
The centre will be getting into the festive spirit and raising funds to support its residents. It is an open invitation so everyone is welcome to come and browse an array of stalls from Bric-a-Brac to Christmas cards. You'll also have the chance to take part in the popular Tombola. If you haven't already started your Christmas shopping then it's a wonderful way to beat the rush way!
Changes to BEN's Newport Offices

British Car Auctions at Newport has been the home of our Welsh Welfare Office for over ten years. They have provided us with a warm welcome, and serviced offices. Sadly the Newport branch of BCA closed on 23rd December but we have managed to maintain our current staff by adopting new working practices.
There will be minor disruption to services over the next couple of months as a result of call and post forwarding . Anyone with urgent concerns can still contact the Helpline on 01344 876770 or email careservices@ben.org.uk.

One slightly overcast morning, on November the 24th, two teams arrived at our care centre, Lynwood, in Ascot to spread a little Christmas cheer. We held our annual awards ceremony on the 17th November at out Town Thorns Care Centre, near Rugby. All nominees and guests assembled in order to celebrate the support they gave us during 2010-2011. In total six trophies were given to individuals and organisations in recognition of their efforts and achievements during this time. BEN Gets a 'Treat' From AA Halloween Fundraising Day

The AA continued their support of BEN by raising an amazing £91at their spine chilling Halloween fundraising day. The spectacularly spooky event took place at the AA centre in Oldbury, West Midlands. Throughout the day ‘Tricks and Treats' were handed out to the staff. The ‘Tricks' came in the form of a £1 fine for anyone who did not dress up and the ‘Treats' were two Halloween themed cakes that were up for grabs as prizes in the raffle.
