On Friday 4 June BEN welcomed a group of volunteers to Lynwood to celebrate National Volunteers Week.

On a beautiful summer's day, the volunteers carried out a range of activities; cleaning chairs, sorting clothes donations and hanging bunting in preparation for the Lynwood summer fete on 26 June.

The hard work was followed by lunch and speeches celebrating the invaluable contributions of BEN volunteers. The day focussed on the volunteers getting to know each other and rewarding their commitment and incredible performance over the last year. BEN's Chief Executive David Main thanked the volunteers and explained that their efforts were essential to the day to day running of the charity and played a key role in fostering a sense of community among staff, residents and beneficiaries.

BEN's volunteers are crucial to the continuation and development of BEN's Mission and we would like to thank each and every one of you.
