The money was raised at the recent BVSF Annual Dinner where a charity draw was held in aid of BEN, the UK's automotive industry charity. Speaking of the donation, Nigel commented;
"This is a very generous gesture by the BVSF and is hugely appreciated by all at BEN. It will help us provide care and support to those in our industry who are facing difficulties. I am looking forward to working closely with the BVSF in the coming months to ensure that all their members are aware that BEN is on hand to provide advice and assistance to them and their families whenever it is needed."
Roger West said;
"I am pleased to be able to support a charity that can provide support for our members and I look forward to increasing the awareness of BEN and how it can support the recycling industry."
