BEN's new website launches Wednesday 27 January 2010 with a fresh design and many new features.
Digital agency Chameleon Interactive was appointed to undertake the redesign and redevelopment project due to their extensive experience in building accessible websites for the charity sector. The new BEN website promises to provide a much more user-friendly online experience and is an essential component in the charity's New Media strategy.
Along with the updated design, new features will include: events booking, streamlined donation tool, blogs, new online shop, media centre, forum, e-newsletter sign up and much more. Each of BEN's five care centres will also be launching their own microsite to showcase their services.
Charles Davis, Director of Fundraising and Communications at BEN, said;
"We are extremely excited to launch our brand new website. New Media has exceeded everyone expectations in the industry we serve and BEN has placed significant investment in this area to broaden our reach and awareness. Together with the new design, added functionality and updated content, the new site will help to raise awareness of the work we do, make it much easier for people to request our care and support when they need it and also generate income for BEN."
