BEN Receives a Warm Welcome at Peugeot

10 and 11 November saw Peugeot's Pinley House host a very special charity event to celebrate BEN's fabulous volunteers.

66 people met over two days to learn new skills in fundraising and visiting people in need. They learned about other charities and how they help people as well as taking part in vital sessions such as how to identify Elder Abuse. They had presentations from Peugeot and Jaguar volunteers who explained what their companies do for the charity.

It was a real community event and Andrew Didlick Peugeot UK's Director of Public Relations took time to welcome the volunteers and thank them for the work they do in the community. Nearly one third of the people helped by BEN live in the West Midlands with its strong history of car and motorcycle production.

Fiona Gorman Head of Welfare at BEN said;
"We are delighted by the support that Peugeot give to us each year. To be allowed to use this fantastic venue is a real privilege. The staff have all been so kind and helpful and our volunteers have had a fabulous time."

One volunteer added;
"I have found the entire event really stimulating and useful to the work we do in the community."
