Neil Haynes of Ron Brooks Toyota, Derbyshire, has reached his target of raising £1,000 for BEN.
Despite current conditions in motor retail, Neil has donated £5 for every car he sells and reached his target earlier than expected.
Speaking of his achievement Neil said,
"When I learned about BEN, I felt compelled to help the fantastic work they do in supporting the growing numbers in the industry who are facing hardship or distress. Despite the downturn I have remained determined to give BEN £5 for every car I have sold and I am thrilled to have reached the £1,000 mark."
Charles Davis, Director of Fundraising and Communications at BEN said,
"More people than ever before are turning to BEN for help and it is generous donations such as Neil's which allow us to continue to give the high quality care and support that those in our industry who have fallen on hard times rely on.
