ADF logoNearly £70,000 was raised for BEN at the ADF Dinner 2009, the biggest ever collection at this event.

A succession of generous donors and hard-working fundraisers were invited onto the stage by ADF Chief Executive Brian Spratt, and presented cheques to BEN for the following;
GMF: £1,000, Jayar: £4,070, Unipart: £9,300, ADF: £5,100, UK Batteries: £10,000, Klarius: £5,000, Euro Car Parts staff: £3,500, Opal BEN Telecom Alliance: £7558.57, Unipart Golf Day: £10,434.15 and Unipart Intertruck: £4,700. £6,000 was also raised on the night.

ADF chief executive Brian Spratt admitted he was ‘staggered and tremendously gratified' at the total of donations announced at the ADF's Annual Dinner, held on Thursday 3rd December, at the Metropole Hotel, Birmingham.

Guests were encouraged to join in next year's fund raising events for BEN; notably the GES-organised Karting Tournament, and the annual ADF/BEN Cricket tournament.

Charles Davis, BEN's Director of Fundraising and Communications said:
"This total comes as a fantastic surprise to us at the end of a tough year. Huge thanks to all our supporters in the industry for all their efforts in supporting us and allowing us to continue to provide quality care and support to our colleagues in need."
