BEN has appointed Emily Bird as Press and Communications Executive from March 2009.
Emily's previous experience includes a prominent media liaison role with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
Charles Davis, Director of Fundraising and Communications for BEN said,
"With the automotive and related industries being so heavily hit by the current recession, it is more important than ever our industry colleagues are aware of BEN and the help it can provide them if they are in need or distress.
Like many companies, BEN must control its budget strictly and extensive advertising is beyond the charity's reach. In recruiting Emily we hope to utilise her expertise to raise our profile in the media and awareness of our services and the funds we require to deliver these."
