Staff and residents of Birch Hill would like to say a huge big thank you to everyone who braved the rain and attended our annual summer fete on Sunday 23 August. Despite the weather being against us we raised over £1500.00.
We would like take this opportunity to thank John Hankinson for contacting all the local garages and arranging donations for our raffle and tombola stalls and Tony Brown who helped John collect the gifts.
Special mention also to our residents and their families, staff and volunteers who donated items for the cake and candy stall, prizes for the tombola and raffle as well as giving their time to man the stalls on the day, we really do appreciate all your help.
Our car treasure hunt was a great success, well done to Tom and Theresa for organising it.
A tremendous amount of work goes into organising events such as this and I would like to thank all our staff who willingly gave their time to make the event the success that it was.
