The 2008 national BEN Karting Championship is now complete following the grand final, which was held at the PFI Brandon race track in Grantham on the 12th October 2008.

The top four teams from each heat and the top four fundraisers secured their slot to battle it out on the track for the sought after title, ‘Automotive Industry Karting Champions'.

The 2008 Karting finalists included Andy Moore Service Centre, three teams from Unipart Automotive, Underwood Garage, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, two teams from Uncle Tom's Motoring Centre, Lifestyle Europe, the Beadles Group, Citroen UK, Delphi Diesel Systems, Lifestyle Ford and Claytons MOT Centre.

And the winners are...

After a 30-minute practice session and the 2-hour endurance race Team Moore from Andy Moore Service Centre emerged victorious! They were followed closely by the Linc's Imps from Unipart Automotive who stormed into a worthy second place, followed by the second Unipart team who took third place. The fastest lap on the day was achieved by Team Moore with a time of 52.67 seconds.
