Our Regional Development Managers spend their working week on the road visiting companies across the breadth and length of the country ensuring that staff know about the support BEN can provide if they find themselves in need of help whether it is financial, emotional or support. These visits help to increase the awareness and to raise vital funds that are used to support fellow automotive colleagues.
During a presentation to GK Group from Chris Brown, BEN's Regional Development Manager, he set down a challenge for them to raise money for BEN. GK Group duly took up this challenge and advertised an in-house raffle for staff to purchase Holiday Prize Draw Vouchers to win a 1 day paid holiday.
A big thank you goes to Jill Baxter, HR Manager for GK Group and her helpers who organized the fundraiser and of course all the staff at GK Group who raised an amazing total of £1,012.
Chris Brown commented "The willingness of GK staff to take up the challenge and raise funds for the industry charity is a fantastic achievement and shows what a difference can be made when everybody pulls together to support colleagues and their families in need. I hope this will inspire other companies to follow suit".
