On Saturday 30 June over 200 magnificent vintage and classic vehicles rallied through Windsor Great Park and Ascot to their final destination - the Lynwood Summer Fete, which was honoured and officially opened by guest speaker and thespian actor Brian Blessed in true style.

With luck our side the glorious sun shone on the Summer Fete making this the best attended since it began. The crowds poured through the gates and were entertained by the various stalls, music from the Soundblast Sinfonia Street Band and a bird's of prey flying display.

Once all the monies have been received the total amount raised will be close to £18,000 making it the highest figure yet, so thank you to everyone who was involved or visited the event.
