New Board Appointment at BEN

Automotive Industry Charity, BEN, has recently appointed Brian Back to its Board. Brian is Chairman of Zenith Vehicle Contracts Plc and a Director of the BVRLA, having been its Chairman from 2003 - 2005. Prior to these appointments, he was Managing Director of Inchcape Vehicle Contracts for 12 years and before this Finance Director and Company Secretary for the Mann Ergerton Group of dealerships.

BEN's Chief Executive, Gerard Barclay commented, "We are delighted that Brian has joined our Board to represent the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association an important sector of the industry employing over 30,000 people. The BVRLA has supported BEN for a number of years in its activities and has raised significant funding as well as increased awareness of the Charity."

In response to this appointment, BVRLA Director General, John Lewis, commented "BEN does tremendous work for the people in our industry, so we aim to help BEN in any way that we can and I know that Brian was particularly pleased to be asked to join the Board where he feels that he will be able to support BEN with the full backing of the vehicle leasing and rental sector."
