Eastleigh Couple Win Vauxhall Corsa
Retired couple Jack and Jane Pryce from Eastleigh became the proud owners of a brand new Vauxhall Corsa sxi 1.4 3-door recently. Jack bought the winning ticket last year at the Shoreham Airport Motor Show, a regional event held annually, when Jack and Jane were on holiday visiting their daughter.
The Pryce’s couldn’t believe their luck when BEN’s Events Manager, Kelly Neal, telephoned them to congratulate them on winning BEN’s National Car Draw. In fact, they thought it was a friend playing tricks!
Although Jack spent 27 years in the motor industry working for Ford in Southampton he was unaware of BEN’s charitable work and he was therefore delighted to be introduced to BEN. On receiving the keys to his car Jack said, “I cannot believe my luck – I purchased the ticket just before I went home after a lovely day out with my family and can remember saying to the young lady selling the tickets – “You never know I might just be lucky”.
The car was kindly donated by Vauxhall Motors and the vehicle handover was at the local Vauxhall dealer showrooms, Picador Chandlers Ford. Picador’s Sales Manager, Wayne Taylor, presented Mrs Pryce with flowers while handing Mr Pryce the keys to his car!
