Camberley Auto Factors

Southern England’s number one motor factor, Camberley Auto Factors, a supplier of motor components for over 40 years, has committed to long term support of BEN, its industry charity.
Directors of the Camberley Auto Factors, have initiated a campaign to promote BEN to all their customers by prominently displaying BEN’s logo on all their 280 commercial vehicles. Each vehicle can make up to 20 to 30 customer deliveries daily. It is hoped that by supporting BEN in this way the charity will raise its profile. On launching this initiative, David Russell, Joint Managing Director of Camberley Auto Factors commented, “Directors, staff and customers have been supporting BEN for a long time and we are delighted to have such a strong relationship. Recently our staff raised £1000 from a variety of fundraising endeavours including poster donations at Autosport International and individual sponsorship income by our Portsmouth Branch Manager, Les Longland, who completed the Great South Run. I have to thank Judy Tonkin, our Payroll and Personnel Support Manager, for her continued encouragement and enthusiasm, she is always thinking of new ways to raise money for BEN.”
Charles Davis, BEN’s Director of Fundraising & Communications commented, “We are absolutely delighted with this latest initiative of Camberley Auto Factors which will boost BEN’s profile enormously. This fits perfectly with our long term plan. If each vehicle does c150 visits each week then on average our name will be seen by nearly two million customers each year. That’s a lot of people!”
