Rodney Marsh Entertains

BEN, the Automotive Industry Charity, held its first Sportsmans Dinner, on 20 February, at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel, in Birmingham. Guests were entertained by Rodney Marsh, England International and Media Pundit who in 2007 spent 17 very long, hard days filming “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here,” and Graham Poll, former FIFA Referee.     The duo individually recounted their football experiences before taking questions and answers from their captive audience.

The evening was a great success for the one hundred guests who enjoyed a 3 course gala dinner with wine. BEN Events Manager, Kelly Neal, commented, “This  was our first Sportsman’s Dinner and we were delighted that everyone enjoyed themselves so much and that we made a profit of £4,500 from sponsorship, ticket sales and a table raffle.   On behalf of our Directors I would like to thank our main headline sponsors, Northridge Finance Ltd, and all our industry colleagues who supported us during the evening including: Ford Motor Company, Inchcape Retail, Masterlease, TTL and Unipart.”
All money raised from the event will go to BEN.
