Press Release - 5 November 2007

Want to Volunteer for BEN and see the International Motor Cycle & Scooter Show for Free?

BEN, the Automotive Industry Charity, needs volunteers to help support its events team at the International Motor Cycle & Scooter Show at the NEC in Birmingham which runs from the 22 November – 2 December.

Volunteers are needed each day, between 10am to 6pm, to help in a variety of fundraising activities including stand duty and selling National Bike Draw tickets to win a Harley Davidson XL883 Sportster ®.

Adam Hanrahan, National Volunteers Co-ordinator at BEN, recently commented, “You can volunteer on any of the 11 days at the Show including weekends.   By volunteering for BEN you are supporting an important industry charity which helps thousands of industry people.   At the same time we know you’ll enjoy yourself.    As well as being able to see all the exhibits for free all volunteers will be provided with a light lunch and we will reimburse agreed travel expenses.     So, if you live locally and have a few hours to spare then please pick up the phone’.”

If you would like to volunteer for this event please contact Laura Redman, Events Team, on 01344 294714 or email laura.redman@ben.org.uk
