Sponsored Bed Push - Bracknell Town Centre - Thursday 19 July

Shoppers in Bracknell Town Centre will be offered the opportunity of putting their feet up, on Thursday, when nurses from BEN's Lynwood Nursing & Residential Centre in Ascot visit the town square to do a Sponsored Bed Push. On-lookers will be invited to join the team of fundraisers between 11am to 2pm to celebrate their charity's birthday.

BEN is the Automotive Industry Charity, the only occupational charity for those who work or have worked in the automotive and related industries. Founded in 1905, the Charity provides practical help, support, advice and friendship to more than 15,000 men and women and their families every year. In addition BEN provides a home to over 350 individuals who reside in one of its four residential centres in the UK and offers day care facilities at its centre in Coventry.

Lynwood is both BEN's national headquarters and a residential centre providing care and accommodation for more than 100 people with a wide spectrum of needs. The principle buildings provide residential and nursing care, with 48 additional flats within the grounds offering sheltered accommodation.
