Position:
Events Support Assistant
Location:
London and the South East / Midlands
Responsible to:
BEN Events Team and Regional Volunteer Groups
Field of work:
Events and exhibitions.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support staff and volunteers with the setting up and running of events and exhibitions.
- A variety of different roles (e.g. setting up décor, manning stands, car park attending, donation bucket collecting, selling national car/bike draw tickets and BEN merchandise).
Applicant requirements:
- Approachable, confident, reliable and hard-working individual.
- Enjoyment of practical, ‘hands-on’ work.
- Willing to travel to and work at inside or outside locations.
- Ability to build a rapport with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Working Hours:
- Mostly weekends, but depends upon type of event or exhibition.
- Occasional basis.
Training:
- Full on the job training.
- BEN Information pack.
- Annual Training Day.
- External training opportunities.
Reimbursement of Expenses:
- Travel expenses to and from work.
- Any other expenses agreed.
