Position:

North West Development Assistant

Location:

BEN North West Office, Manchester

Responsible to:

Regional Development Manager

A volunteer is needed to support BEN’s Regional Development Manager in the North West with telephone support, office administration and events research.

Field of work:

  • Tele-support.
  •  Events Research.
  • General office administration.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Development Manager with Payroll administration and credit control.
  • Research the feasibility of a North West Charity Ball and a Regional Ladies Luncheon.
  • Additional projects could potentially be developed.

Applicant requirements:

  • Good telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • To be business-like and able to use initiative at all times.
  • This role may be more suitable for a mature individual.

Working Hours:

At least one full day or two half days a week (Monday – Friday office hours).

  • Annual Training Day.
  • External training opportunities.

Reimbursement of Expenses:

  • Travel expenses to and from work.
  • Any other expenses agreed.
