Payroll giving is the most cost-efficient way to donate to BEN. If your employer already has a payroll giving scheme in place, get in touch with your HR department and they should be able to provide you with a payroll giving form. Simply decide how much you would like to donate every month and this will be deducted from your pay.
As your donation will be made before you pay tax, the money that would normally go to HMRC goes to BEN instead. So if you donate £5 a month and you pay 20% tax, the actual cost to you is £4. And if you pay the higher rate of tax at 40% then it will only cost you £3. So it costs you less to give us more!
If your employer doesn't offer a payroll giving scheme, why not suggest starting one? We would be more than happy to help set up a scheme, and as an agency approved by HMRC, no third party needs to be involved.
