Our recently refurbished dining room is bright and airy, and overlooks Lord Street. It's always a hive of social activity and residents enjoy meeting here for some friendly chatter during mealtimes.

Here at Alexandra House, all of our meals are freshly cooked and homemade. For both lunch and evening meals, our residents benefit from a waitress service. We also serve homemade cakes every afternoon with tea or coffee, which is always a favourite!

themed days

In addition we hold regular themed days which can include anything from Chinese food to a cheese board with wine - depending on what tickles our residents' fancy.

breakfast club

As we're lucky to be situated right on Lord Street, we are also able to run a weekly breakfast club for those residents who enjoy eating their morning meal at a restaurant of their choice.

matron's coffee morning

Every week we hold a coffee morning for six residents to enjoy with Alexandra House's Matron. This is a special event, by invitation only (this works on a rota basis so no one is ever left out)!
