Alexandra House is situated on Southport's Lord Street, an ideal spot in this busy seaside town. We're surrounded by shops, boutiques and theatres - and the promenade is right on our doorstep. Lord Street is also a designated conservation area and is considered to be of special architectural and historic interest. So, thanks to our location, there's always something interesting to see or do should it take your fancy!

We have 56 rooms varying in size depending on the needs of our residents. All of our rooms are decorated to a high standard and benefit from large windows which provide a light and airy atmosphere.

Our dining room has recently been refurbished and is definitely the social hub of our home. In this bright and cheerful room which overlooks Lord Street, residents enjoy meeting with each other and having a friendly chat over lunch or dinner.

We also have two large lounges, also facing Lord Street. One is used for a range of activities and exercises that our residents take part in, including indoor games and quizzes (find out more about our activities timetable). The other is perfect for relaxing in and watching the world go by.
