Steve Dewey

Steve Dewey, Road Operations Director, The Automobile AssociationSteve Dewey has spent all his working life in the automotive industry. Upon leaving school in 1978 his first role was apprentice motor technician. Steve was appointed by the AA in 1984 and is currently the Road Operations Director of the core membership business. Previous management roles have included both strategic and operational challenges and Steve obtained an MBA in International business from Bristol University in 1998.


Steve is also a company nominated trustee of the pension scheme, Chairs the FIA/AIT International Road services commission and is a board member of the French Lyon based ACTA organisation which serves customers who are stranded in France.


Steve has been an advocate of BEN for many years and considers the charity's "core strength" to be "the fantastic work that is carried out in the care centres and by its welfare team".
