Favourite music: I generally like anything before 1990. Cannot stand ‘thump thump' and heavy metal music. And my pet hate is people with music belching (usually the ‘thump thump' kind) out of their cars.

Most admired person: This is difficult, I know I aught to say my boss to keep her sweet and I do admire her. I come across so many people in the course of my work and those I admire the most tend to be selfless carers, who seem to put the care needs first and keep all the other balls up in the air with the remainder of the family, cook, clean and still look fabulous and keep cheery and up to date with what else is happening in the world. Oh and I can also admit that I think Cliff Richards is wonderful too!

What are you reading at the moment? I am the sort of person who has about three or four books on the go at the same time. At the moment I am reading a thriller by Tess Gerritsen, a mind and lifestyle book called Erroneous Zones by Dr W Dyer and some papers on hypnotic states (and some of you will know that this is the state I am in most days!).

Favourite colour: I like all bright cheery colours - yellows, purples and oranges - but tend to wear lots of dark clothes??? (What does that tell you?)

Favourite meal: Here I am at my happiest! I like all food, especially the foods I should not eat like fish and chips, fresh home-made bread with butter (I dare not get my cholesterol tested!)

Favourite place: My favourite places tend to be in the wide open countryside, up in the Alps on mountain walks and closer to home on the shores of Pickmere Lake. In fact anywhere there is tranquillity. My back garden is also a place I like to spend lots of time recharging after a busy day in the office.
