I joined BEN in February 2008 and have the responsibility for the development of regional fundraising. I have a team of six Regional Development Managers who are responsible for different regions across the country and generate fundraising income for BEN.

Our main focus is to generate sustainable income for BEN either through payroll giving or donations. This is achieved through visiting companies on a regular basis and promoting BEN to both the management and staff. My team also explores opportunities to raise funds through regional events such as bowling evenings, cycle rides, and in one region a ladies lunch.

I've worked in the automotive industry for many years and have always been aware of BEN. Now that I'm actually working for the charity, I find it very satisfying knowing that I'm giving something back. Knowing that we are benefiting others makes BEN an extremely rewarding place to work.
