23 January 2012

A once high end car worth £10,924, Auto Express s 11 year old Lantra, with battered side panels, scraped paintwork and ageing trim, was effectively worthless but not for us. With the BEN Scrap and Donate scheme and a few simple steps the Lantra raised £140 for us and our cause. Auto Express like many others had stuck with their trusted car throughout its life but unlike most others the relationship didn't stop there. Auto Express followed their Lantra through the process of donating it to BEN s ‘Scrap and Donate scheme. From visiting the charitycar website, to the...

Christmas has arrived at BEN!

30 November 2011

One slightly overcast morning, on November the 24th, two teams arrived at our care centre, Lynwood, in Ascot to spread a little Christmas cheer. From morning until night they laboured on, hanging tinsel, dressing Christmas trees and generally having a good hearted time.
