The Backing BEN initiative is necessary for sustainable future income

Backing BEN is an initiative that involves us working with sectors of the industry to develop fundraising schemes within your supply, distribution or sales chain to make contributing to BEN extremely quick and easy.

In order for Backing BEN to be successful there are three simple criteria that need to be fulfilled:

1. The sector has a strong collective culture developed through Trade Associations, the press or sector champions, sees the benefit in wanting to support BEN and is willing to promote the scheme.
   
2. There is a common theme running through the supply chain that the sector can identify as a performance indicator on which to base contributions - i.e. sales figures.
3. Somewhere in the supply chain there is a facilitator who is able to collect the payments on behalf of the donors and pass these to BEN.

This philosophy has already been adopted in the Fleet and Dealer sectors with the auction houses facilitating the scheme. The support of champions, the associations and major trade titles, who have all heavily promoted both Dealers and Fleets Backing BEN, has meant that the initial response from both sectors has been phenomenal - with many companies signing up instantly for this quick, no hassle way to contribute.
