Audrey Murray, Regional Development Manager

I joined BEN in September 2010 as a Regional Development Manager, with responsibility to raise funds and awareness of BEN, in Scotland & Northern Ireland.

My job has a number of aspects to it and no two days are the same, that's what makes it so interesting! The main focus of my role is to secure company donation and individual payroll giving which is a vital income source for the charity. This involves meeting new people, telling them about their charity, building relationships and encouraging support within the Industry.

Of course, it can be challenging, but it is also hugely rewarding to know that the funds we help to raise have such a direct impact on improving the lives of those in need. It's great to do a job that makes a difference.

BEN is a fantastic organisation to work for - everyone is supportive and enthusiastic and I feel privileged to be part of a team who are dedicated in what they do.
